Details

California common, also known as steam beer, was born in California in the late 1800s. It was intended to be a lager beer made with German lager yeast, but due to lack of refrigeration, it fermented at ale temperature. The resulting ester profile defines the beer. It's a real thirst quencher, drinks you right down.
