Details

Contrary to its name, it is not a pepper but a close relative of the mango. It has no pepperine, which gives black pepper its spiciness. It has a sweet, spicy taste, a common ingredient in gin. It adds a spicy flavour to beer, complementing rye beers well.

Recommended dosage: aprox 10g/10l
Usege: in the last 10 minutes of boiling or on day 4 of fermentation
