The model abbot, principal of the Belgian monastery. The knowledge he gathered over the time makes him not only a master of prayer but one of brewing as well. Not only is he the guardian of the casks, he’s also a keen consumer so it’s easy to see how he’s bold figure had been the inspiration of the bold flavour.
An esteemed member of the family of Belgian yeasts. Recommended for weaker, Duvel-like, strong bodied ales. Has a well-balanced malty and alcoholic profile. Creates pleasant, fruity esters when fermented at higher temperatures.
