Crisp Marris Otter is an excellent British malt. It takes its name from the variety of barley. It is a low nitrogen grain, which is beneficial to the malting process. A true traditional malt with a strong malty flavour. On The Simpsons, it is known only as the Rolls-Royce of malts.

Crisp Malt is a company founded in Great Ryburg in 1870 by two brothers, Frederick and George Smith. Over the years the company has maintained its independence and is now the largest independent malt house in the UK. The product range includes traditional malts as well as traditional English malts.
