Details

When brewing indoors, many people find that large amounts of steam are produced, which should ideally be led out via a fan or a condenser, to avoid moisture damage in the room.

The condenser works by supplying cold water, and through a built-in nozzle the steam cools down so that it flows out in the form of water. The water is led out at the bottom via a hose (We recommend a 1/2" silicone hose, this is not included in the kit), and into a drain or suitable container.

Suit for 65L Robobrew, Brewzilla and Digiboil

Hole diameter: 48mm

Instructions:

  1. Let the wort come to a boil, adjust the power down and wait until the foam has subsided.
  2. Put the lid on and secure it with the locking clips on the side of the brewer.
  3. Make sure the outlet is placed over a drain or have a container underneath. Attach the hose to the hose nipple and let it hang freely straight down.
NB: If the outlet is blocked, back pressure will form in the condenser, so make sure that there is no bend in the hose, or that it remains in water.
  4. Connect to water and adjust the pressure to a "moderate" amount of water (Approx. 0.6 liters per minute)
  5. Add hops etc by removing the end cap on the Steam Condenser, or by opening the clamps and lifting the lid slightly.
NB: When the lid/end lid is opened, extremely hot steam will come out. We therefore strongly recommend using brewing gloves or similar, to avoid potential burns.
